Evangelion Unit-05 (エヴァンゲリオン５号機, Evangerion Gogouki) is a new Evangelion unit to be introduced in Evangelion 2.0. Eva-05 is described as a "provisional" Eva unit, and she may possibly be piloted by the new character Mari. The arms appear to have an unusual structure and bear giant, lance-like objects. The forehead of the yellow-visored helmet possesses a prominent conical projection.
