I dont like Asuka all that much, but I do agree that she needed more ass kicking screen time.

Ok, truth being, I don't really hate her either (I did the first time through the series though), and I think she's fucking awesome during her fight with the MPs, and if Shinji has to be with one of the girls, she's the one I'd pic for him...

However...

I think my avatar sums up my thoughts on the matter...

Personally, I think her ma deserves some credit for that fight, too. Evas don't normally growl and roar when they're completely under pilot control, no?

Perhaps for one or two brief moments that are hidden from camera view, anyway. ;) You do see... uh, his (:?) left palm in EoE, but that's it. (zomg ojisan do left palms make you think of anyone overanalysis lol)

I would ask Anno what the hell he was thinking with all of that Spear bullshit in the CI.

I would also ask him how he could possibly expect me to be fooled by this "Kaworu = boy" nonsense. :lol:

Jeez, and here I was thinking that the Usagi/Mamoru or Usagi/Seiya arguement was bad... :roll: The main characters in shows/other mediums end up with who they end up with, why's that such a big deal? If it's the creator's intent, then obviously the paired couple ends up together for a reason!

(FYI: It's NOT my intent to offend anyone. I do think people should be able to like whatever shippings they like, but I just simply don't understand the point in "non-canon" character shipping.)

Does anyone have any pictures of that Shinquriam?
I've seen the film about 3-5 times already (all within about several months! Yes, I'm nuts about it) and I've yet to seen that...scene.
