Ok now im sure everybody knows how much of an eva fan by now and Im going to appologise to SSD now because I knew I was correct all along.

Ok well today whilst out and about searching the streets of sydney I stumbled across a bookstore which happened to have some Evangelion books in it. Well I purchased the following books. Which I shall write up reviews on for the Evapedia.

Neon Genesis Evangelion Die Sterne (Ver.2.0)
and the all important one...
The Essential Evangleion Chronicle Side A.
This book contains many interesting facts like Birthdates.
It also contains information on each of the Eva series and further data.

Well I know there are many Arguments on the DOB of Asuka but this is an offical book so I guess the EVAPEDIA will have to be changed

Asukas DOB is 4 day of december in the year 2001.

As Quoted "生年月日: A.D.2001/12/04"

The 4-Dec-01 date has been known for years, though there are a lot of people who refuse to accept it.

There is a (somewhat archaic) Japanese custom of referring to someone as age N from the start of the year containing the Nth anniversary of their birth, though.

Megumi Hayashibara suggested her birthday for Rei (I think it was the 30th of January, or March), but Rei's birthday is officially "unknown" as far as I know.

Well im looking through them now I will upload the character information when I scan it. Still there is some interesting stuff in here on her from the new movie book. Also there is loads of information on all the characters and the Eva's but this is only the first book. Im going back on friday to get some more. Im scaning each book so I have a digital copy. Funny thing is I found a real copy of retake in there today lmao. still way overpriced and its in Japanese.

lol thats funny. Well both the Evangelion 1.0 and Evangelion Chronicles say that his DOB is A.D. 2001/12/16.

I have notived a hell of a lot of date screwups in the anime. well not only that but stupid things like the blackboard whenthere doing algiba (*Shudders*) the equations are wrong lol. there are heeps of stupid thing like that. But the cool thing is now I have a few offical sorces I can work with.

There are ages quoted for the characters on various sites, but with no guarantee of how official they are.

Rei cannot have a real 2001 birthdate, since she wasn't conjured into existence until three years later.

Kozo is probably 9-Apr-57

I know that Touji was about the youngest, but hadn't realised Hikari was younger too.

According to Chronicle, Kozo is 1956/04/09. And Rei is "Unknown".

For whatever reason, Chronicle has Asuka's age as "14" in spite of her birth date.

This info is from a copy of Eva Chronicle? (which Reichu already has and can crosscheck) or are you talking about something different?

What is Neon Genesis Evangelion Die Sterne (Ver.2.0)

(A) He seems to be getting it from 'The Essential Evangelion Chronicle (Side A)', which I mention on the Wiki page but don't have much information about.

(B) Like the original Die Sterne (see the old Eva Commentary page) but with some additional illustrations added on. Zeak should scan them for us.

Asuka is 13 for most of the series, assuming Evangelion starts around Summer 2015. I'm not sure why people keep saying she's 14, because she really isn't except for the possibility of EoE.
