Evangelion returns to Toonami

Today at Atlanta’s MomoCon, the Toonami question-and-answer panel announced that Evangelion 1.11 will premiere on Adult Swim’s Toonami block next Sunday, March 17, at 1am as part of the “Toonami Birthday Party” movie night. The original Neon Genesis Evangelion TV series had its first two episodes air on the Toonami’s afternoon block in 2003, though it wasn’t part of Adult Swim then.

(They spelled Evangelion wrong, assuming they’re not referring to the “Evangeline” silent movies from the early 1900’s)
